Pocket Points and Hero Challenge #3!

Hey everyone! The mid-year rush has hit me! From the end of the last challenge until Halloween, everyone who logged Hero points each day has an entry into the current round of Teacher challenges!

Valley is now on Pocket Points! Want a new way to keep students off their phones in your class? Encourage them to use the Pocket Points app! I currently have a store that lets the students exchange Pocket Points for Hero points, or they can use them on any of the retailers on the app. FREE Fazolis, Marks, discounts to Papa Johns, Target, and more. I remind my students at the beginning of class to lock their phone with the pocket points app running. My students have taken to having competitions between them who can go the longest without unlocking their phones!

How it Works

Pocket Points is a new mobile application that gives students rewards for not using their phones during class. Simply open the app on campus, lock your phone, and start gaining points. Points are then used at local and online businesses for awesome student discounts, coupons, or gifts!
